High on a hill, above the clouds, hidden away from the rest of the world, is a secluded log cottage with a view that’s forever.
From the deck with hot tub you can see over Pender Island, over Salt Spring Island, over Vancouver Island,
Over Victoria, all the way to the snow-capped Olympic Mountains.
This cottage is higher than any other rental accommodation on Mayne Island…
Looking down on the float planes that come and go in Navy Channel,
Even down on the eagles that soar and sit in the treetops below.
If heaven were like cloud 100, we’re on cloud 99.
This cute little log cottage comes with a fully equiped kitchen... fridge, range, sink and microwave and all the dishes, utensils, etc. that you might need.
The dining area enjoys a great view of Navy Channel, Pender Island, with many opportunities to see the ferries sailing back and forth.
This cozy little wood heater is great to take the chill off in the morning.
The livingroom has a sofa that can double as an extra bed, if needed... plus there is also a roll away cot as well.
People say that they really can sleep here... it is so peaceful and quiet. There is also a TV with VCR and library of videos, if that is of any interest to you.
The bathroom has a combination tub/shower plus all the essentials that come with indoor plumbing... not like the first log cabins where one had to run to the outhouse.
On the deck off the livingroom is one of the nicest hot tubs... perfect for relaxation anytime of the day or night... and out of sight from any other dwellings. The cottage is on part of our 10.6 acre property.
